Operations Manager

Verbatim Americas seeks a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to oversee and optimize our business operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing third-party logistics (3PL) warehouses and possess strong expertise in SAP or a similar ERP system. This role will be responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, managing relationships with external partners, and driving continuous improvement across the supply chain.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following; and other duties may be assigned:

  •  Oversee daily operations of 3PL warehouse partners, ensuring timely and accurate receipt, storage, and distribution of goods.
  • Manage SAP order entry process, ensuring accurate and timely data entry, order fulfillment, and inventory control.
  • Develop and implement operational procedures and best practices to optimize warehouse efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Manage cross-functional teams including logistics, procurement, and customer service to ensure smooth order processing and fulfillment.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement in warehouse and logistics operations.
  • Lead and mentor a team of warehouse and logistics, procurement, and customer service personnel, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.
  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements in all warehouse and logistics activities.
  • Drive process improvements and system enhancements to improve accuracy, reduce lead times, and minimize operational costs.

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, with a focus on 3PL warehouse management.
  • Strong proficiency in SAP or a similar ERP order entry and inventory management system.
  • Proven ability to manage and optimize warehouse and logistics operations.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
     

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) and other supply chain software.
     

Work Environment: The work environment consists of a typical office setting with the equipment necessary to conduct business.
